Bloomberg: Thrive Holdings Makes a $100 Million Bet on AI for IT Help

Shield CEO Jim Siders spoke with Bloomberg about Thrive Holdings’ $100 million investment in Shield Technology Partners and the firm's strategy to modernize IT services providers serving small and medium sized businesses across the country. 

Siders explained how Shield already applies AI directly to IT operations, using proprietary tooling that can address roughly 60% of incoming support tickets. He noted that Shield combines proprietary technology built with OpenAI and majority investments in IT services firms, enabling modernization at scale rather than incremental tools layered onto legacy models.
